Maybelline New York is launching the third season of influencer-led YouTube series, Makeup Like This! Debuting exclusively on Maybelline’s YouTube channel today, the series will feature fresh influencer hosts, new product reveals, consumer giveaways, and a surprise bonus episode.
“The Makeup Like This series has been an incredible platform for us to tell our makeup story to the consumer over the last three years. As a result, we’ve seen impressive growth and engagement on our YouTube channel. Last year alone, our subscribers grew by over 40%, and total engagements grew more than 31%,” says US Senior Vice President Marketing Amy Whang, Maybelline New York. “We’ve seen positive interaction and net sentiment from our Subscriber base as well.”
The sixteen-episode series will include eight branded, occasion-focused product tutorials starring top beauty influencers. Using exclusively Maybelline, each video will provide step-by-step application tips and describe the beauty benefits of the products used to create the look. The tutorials will be accompanied by eight influencer-produced vlogs, which will live on the influencer’s channel, and coincide with the theme of the product tutorials.
Each video and vlog theme will reflect the influencer’s lifestyle in order to showcase their glam in their real life.
“We wanted these influencers, who are amazing content creators and visionaries, to be part of this in a bigger way than previous seasons by giving them the opportunity to co-create the series with us,” Whang added.
