Across all industries, consumer demand for products using more natural ingredients and a manufacturing process that is environmentally friendly, increases year after year. A pledge that many in the cosmetic and personal care community have made, as public interest in the matter continue to rise.
The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) honors those companies who have done the most to push our industry toward a Greener future. For the third year, the SCC has issued an open call of submission for entry into the SCC Green Star Award, sponsored by Colonial Chemical.
Awarded to the formulator who has done the most to accomplish green formulations during the past 12-month period, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists will present the award at the 73rd Annual Scientific Meeting & Technology Showcase. The winner will receive a scroll, an honorarium and a complimentary SCC membership for one full year.
