Dermalogica’s new Clear Start Clearing Defense SPF30 is hitting the marketplace on May 2. The shine-reducing SPF moisturizer SKU is part of the brand’s Clear Start system that delivers fast-acting, multitasking results for breakout-prone skin in teens and young adults.
Clear Start Clearing Defense SPF30 acts as a barrier between skin and the elements, helping to protect against UV rays, free radical damage and pollutants, oily shine and makeup, all without clogging pores. It also works with the skin’s microbiome, delivers critical hydration, and reduces shine while maintains a long-lasting matte finish, said the company.
The formulation contains Mattifying EnviroShield Technology, which Dermalogica says acts as a barrier between skin and the elements, protecting from UV rays, pollution and free radical damage; Pore Protect Shield, which creates an invisible layer between makeup and skin and is scientifically proven not to clog pores; and patented TT Technology, which works with skin’s natural microbiome with natural tapioca.
Additional ingredients include willow bark extract, green tea extract, and vitamin C.
