Croda executives will attend Beauty and Money on September 26, 2019 in New York to share its latest knowledge on sustainable innovation with independent beauty brands. Donna Petretti, marketing manager for personal care at Croda will explain what it means to be a sustainable brand in 2019, and the opportunities and challenges to consider to attain beauty business objectives.

Last month, Croda won the low carbon accolade at the Chemical Industry Awards. The award recognizes and celebrates Croda’s priority to ensure carbon management and sustainability are core components of the company’s strategy and decision making factors.
Adopting an industry leading position through its positively different approach, 61% of Croda’s raw materials were from biobased sources in 2018.
“Sustainability and ingredient integrity is at the forefront of sustainable innovation in today’s evolving beauty industry. There is now growing importance for brands to establish sustainable programs with their suppliers, whereby ingredient transparency is crucial,” said Petretti.
