In order to add an “element of fun” to the tailored pieces in L’Agence’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, Maybelline New York makeup artist Grace Lee created a pink lip with a “cool girl feel” at New York Fashion Week. She complemented the look with Twiggy-inspired lashes and a fresh flush.
To even skin tone, Lee applied Dream Urban Cover Flawless Coverage Foundation followed by Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer where needed. She used Fit Me Powder Blush in Rose on the apples of the cheeks for a healthy flush.
Lee defined top and bottom lash lines with TattooStudio Sharpenable Gel Pencil Longwear Eyeliner in Deep Onyx. She rimmed waterlines with TattooStudio Sharpenable Gel Pencil Longwear Eyeliner in Polished White for an eye-opening effect.
Upper and lower lashes were layered with Volum’ Express The Colossal Washable Mascara in Glam Black for a Twiggy-like effect. Lee filled in arches with the Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil and set the shape with the new BrowFast Sculpt Gel Mascara in Clear, which launches in January 2020.
For a pastel pout with plenty of pop, Lee filled in the entire lip with SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in Loyalist. She layered SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in Dreamer and Romantic over top to finish.
As for hair, Cutler Hair Lead Rudy Martins offered smooth stylings.
“The inspiration for this look is an elegant 1960’s South of France vibe. Imagine a girl in a convertible heading to St. Tropez wearing a headscarf to protect her hair from the wind. She’s very chic, so of course, her hair needs to be shiny, polished and elegant, but at the same time she has a cool and casual attitude, noted Martins.
