The Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) Science Symposium, to be held October 29-30 in Philadelphia, PA is only three weeks away. The event offers manufacturers, suppliers and consultants a forum to network with decision-makers within the personal care industry. Visitors can attend workshops covering Microbiology, Quality Assurance, Environmental and Safety. Open to both PCPC members and nonmembers, the 2019 Science Symposium is an opportunity to learn from experts and meet colleagues and friends in the industry.
The Symposium also includes the Cosmetic Science Expo, which enables attendees to meet with cutting edge suppliers and technology companies and learn how to implement the new techniques presented during the workshops.
Featured speakers from this year’s microbiology and environmental workshops include Collette Fitzgerald Leaumont, Ph.D., who will give a presentation entitled, “Culture-Independent Diagnostic Testing (CIDTs) and Public Health- What's New!” and Dr. Harshita Kumari, who will give a talk called “Assessing Changes in Polymer Physiochemical Properties Upon Formulation of Personal Care Products.”
