Active Micro Technologies (AMT) has appointed Anna Crovetto as their new manager of global business development. AMT focuses on the power of natural compounds, combining cosmetic functionality with antimicrobial activity to develop a range of multi-functional ingredients that can reduce or eliminate the need for conventional preservatives in personal care. The company strives to continuously improve and add to its sustainable, nature-based product line whilst also welcoming the opportunity to custom develop alternative products for preservation and natural antimicrobial solutions. As preservation becomes a global challenge for the personal care industry, AMT is initiating a global targeted approach to support their partners.
Based in Hamburg, Germany but working closely with the AMT head offices, production and R&D site in North Carolina, USA, Crovetto will spearhead this global approach. Over the last 10 years, Crovetto has studied and worked within the cosmetics industry, both in the UK and across Europe. Her career path has allowed her to travel widely, while gaining a distinct experience in the raw material and active ingredient sector. Crovetto joined the Active Micro Technologies’ family of companies in March 2013.
