Ten years ago, Symrise introduced SymDeo B125, a biodegradable deodorant active for underarm cosmetic products, which has also proven effective in foot care and many other cosmetic formulations. Now, Symrise researchers have shown that this deodorant active is microbiome-friendly and does not disrupt the sensitive underarm biota notably. Symrise´s findings regarding the influence of deo actives on the human axillary microbiome are the first in the industry.
