The CHT Group, a German based silicone and specialty chemical manufacturer, has commissioned renovations in the R&D and Manufacturing areas at its Cassopolis, Michigan site.
Levi Cottington, CEO of CHT USA, explained, “As we expand product lines to increase our ability to service customers in the Textile and Construction industries, we will continue to invest in our facilities and personnel.“
Following on a major lab expansion costing $500,000 in 2016, CHT USA’s latest investment will add 800 square feet of floor space at a cost of over $250,000. Ken Kemerer, chief operating officer of CHT USA, who is overseeing the project, added, “This project will allow for additional space and support for multiple functions including Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Human Resources, Customer Service and Research & Development.“
CHT USA expects the project to be completed in 2019 and be fully functional in time for 2020.
