The latest innovation to Garnier’s Hair Color Technology Tool is a partnership with Google Lens. According to the company, this is a first for the personal care industry, as it is Google Len’s inaugural rollout with a beauty partner.
Beginning today at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide, shoppers will be able to use Google Lens, which lets users search what they see, to scan boxes of Garnier’s Nutrisse and Olia lines and virtually try on the shade on the spot. Google Lens in partnership with Garnier’s Virtual Try-on Tool powered by ModiFace, an augmented reality, and artificial intelligence company, are working together to power an even more seamless in-store experience for hair color shoppers.
Google Lens is powering the seamless in-store experience, while ModiFace, the L’Oréal-owned augmented reality and artificial intelligence company has developed the precise virtual try-on technology.
