Skin care brand Drunk Elephant has rolled out F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial, a new overnight hydrating face mask, at Sephora.
The cooling, quenching mask is said to plump and restore with an electrolyte cocktail while strengthening the skin’s acid mantle. With barrier-replenishing ingredients including niacinamide, sodium PCA, plant squalane, five forms of ceramides, omega fatty acids and powerful antioxidants, F-Balm effectively rehydrates hungover, overly-parched skin, according to the brand, which was acquired last year by Shiseido in a deal valued at $845 million.
In the formulation beads loaded with vitamin F burst during application to deliver extra emollience and soothing hydration. In addition, it can help improve signs of damage, uneven tone and texture, according to the company.
“F-Balm is an overnight mask that plumps and helps restore the balance of hydration and moisture levels to the skin. Our four electrolyte blend helps restore the water content of skin while protecting against its loss, which makes the lipids, ceramides and oils in the formula even more effective at their job – keeping skin soft and supple,” said Drunk Elephant Founder Tiffany Masterson.
