Guerlain is not alone. Other global beauty companies have also shifted to focus on producing and distributing hand sanitizer during the coronavirus pandemic:
- L Brands suspended part of its e-commerce business to focus on production and distribution of soaps and hand sanitizers.
- L’Oréal is using its facilities to produce both hand sanitizer and hydroalcoholic gel.
- LVMH has shifted its factories that normally manufacture to manufacturing hand sanitizer gel.
