The coronavirus forced the cancellation of The American Academy of Dermatology's annual meeting in Denver this month. The Academy noted that its annual meeting is the beating heart of the dermatology community; it's where the specialty gathers, connects, and, most importantly, shares the latest advances and best practices in the specialty.
"While we are disappointed that we will not be able to host an in-person annual meeting this year, we are excited to report that plans are underway for a dynamic, engaging and immersive digital event that will highlight much of the great content that would have been presented at the annual meeting," AAD said in a statement.
This digital event will debut in the the next six-to-eight weeks. More info: AAD.org
