Clean baby care brand, Pipette, has just launched a $5 hand sanitizer that’s safe for the whole family.
The new product was slated to launch in 2021; however, due to the growth in the immediate demand from consumers and healthcare workers triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, Pipette fast-tracked production to bring it to market as soon as possible.
The fragrance-free hand sanitizer is made with 65% USP grade alcohol, which exceeds the CDC’s recommendation of 60%. It also contains moisturizing agents like squalane and glycerin which keeps hands soft and counteracts the drying effects of ethyl alcohol. Pipette’s hand sanitizer is vegan, uses plant-derived ingredients and safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Pipette will donate 21,000 32 oz bottles to medical communities on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. These include but are not limited to: UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals (Oakland and San Francisco), UCLA and Cedars Sinai in Southern California and Elmhurst Hospital, Mount Sinai, St Francis and New York-Presbyterian Hospitals in New York state.
The 8 oz bottle retails for $4.99 and is available for purchase on Pipettebaby.com. 32 oz and 2 oz bottles will be available soon.
