Support Creatives has appointed Carlos Morales, former luxury brand partner executive, as its chief friend-raiser. Morales will work alongside Michael Dueñas, president and chief giving officer, for Support Creatives.
In this newly created role, Morales will help champion Support Creatives' positioning and increase its presence and appeal to the creative community. Morales’s passion and ease for relationship building will help in raising friends and raising funds for artists in the beauty space that have been negatively affected by COVID-19 as well as other difficult circumstances.
“I have made lifelong friendships with the most amazing artists and savvy business owners over the last 25 years. Being the chief friend-raiser to me is twofold: I get to help some of my friends get back on their feet, and I get to make new ones along the way. I get to help create a network of giving! How rad is that? I’m honored that Support Creatives chose me for this role,” Morales said.
Morales is a veteran of 25 years within the beauty and lifestyle channels. A leader and strategist focused in sales strategy, education, brand development and artificial intelligence. He has worked with brands such as The Walt Disney Company, Nordstrom, Bumble and bumble, and Hairstory. Morales most recently served as vice president of business development for Luxury Brand Partners where he led the BD team in further growing Oribe Hair Care, and launching new brands such as R+Co, V76, Smith & Cult and start up Vuja De Beauty. As an industry leader Morales is recognized for bringing exceptional growth to brands under his watch by cultivating friendships and understanding the emerging technologies that will bring sweeping change to the industry he is passionate about.
