One new cosmetics brand has a star-studded lineup of financial backers. Unilever and Gwyneth Paltrow are the latest investors in Saie, a clean makeup line launched by blogger Laney Crowell.
Saie (pronounced “say”) launched last year. The lineup includes mascara ($24), brow gel ($18), lip balm ($16) and lavender eyelash curler. Most recently, Saie added a lipgloss, highlighters and something called Glowy Super Gel, which is described as a sheer, sparkle-free illuminating product.
Saie is just the latest investment in beauty for the Oscar-winning actress. Goop aside, Paltrow also sunk money in Juice Beauty and Blo Blow Dry Bar.
