Indie beauty brand Gisou is now available in store and online at Sephora. The key ingredient in Gisou’s hair care line is honey derived from co-founder Negin Mirsalehi’s family bee garden, which has been in the model/influencers family for over six generations.
Gisou’s products—which span from a $34 conditioner to $87 hair oil—contain a blend of minerals, vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants. Honey is also known as nature’s humectant, due to its moisture-retaining properties, perfect for maintaining the hair’s natural moisture balance.
According to reports, Mirsalehi and Gisou cofounder Maurits Stibbe launched the company back in 2017 after Mirsaheli noticed that her six million Instagram followers constantly asked about her hair routine. Sounds like she’s got the buzz on honey in hair care and is on the fast track to success.
