The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) has added two new staff members: Ryan Heisler as manager, environmental and scientific affairs and Elizabeth Sullivan as program coordinator, government affairs.
“ACI is fortunate to welcome these talented individuals to our team,” said Melissa Hockstad, ACI president and CEO. “We know they will strengthen our core disciplines in our scientific and government affairs departments and help us provide even more value to ACI’s members.”
Heisler comes to ACI from Plymouth State University, where he was a graduate research and teaching assistant while pursuing his Master’s degree. He also has experience as a field and lab research technician. In his role at ACI, Heisler will manage scientific research and outreach on the environmental fate and effects of cleaning products and their ingredients. He has Bachelor of Science in aquatic science and fisheries management from Juniata College (Huntingdon, PA) and a Master of Science in environmental science and policy from Plymouth State University (Plymouth, NH).
Sullivan will aid ACI’s state and federal advocacy team efforts to help maintain its proactive outreach in critical jurisdictions. Sullivan has a Bachelor of Art in Politics from The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC).
