Apparel and accessory company Centric Brands has acquired Taste Beauty, a manufacturer and marketer of children’s and adult beauty and personal care products distributed under the Taste Beauty brand and a portfolio of licenses.
“We are thrilled to welcome Taste Beauty and its team into the Centric Brands family,” said Mr. Jason Rabin, CEO of Centric Brands. “This acquisition allows us to tap into an entrepreneurial, innovative and proven leadership team that combined with our existing beauty division creates the market authority resource in this category. It also further strengthens our bath and beauty product offering while expanding our entertainmentlLicensing platform into complementary categories and properties.”

The acquisition further deepens Centric Brand’s relationships with its licensors, vendors and retail partners as it grows Taste Beauty’s business along with its own Beauty division across all areas of design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution, said Centric Brands, which is based in New York.
Taste Beauty, founded in 2015, has license agreements with Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Mattel, MGA, Hasbro, Nestle, Pepsi and others.
Centric Brands’ portfolio includes more than 100 iconic licensed brands, including for kids apparel via Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Nautica and Lucky Brands; for men’s and women’s apparel with Joe’s Jeans, Hudson, Buffalo and Hervé Léger; and for accessories including Coachand Kate Spade.
