As health and wellness rises in importance among more consumers, makers of ingestible products with beauty benefits are rolling out new products.
This week, Alani Nu, a supplement and wellness brand created in 2018, launched Self, a new line of beauty from within products. The first product is Balance Powder, which promotes brighter skin, clear complexion, and hormonal balance in Rainbow Candy flavor.
"In the past year, individuals have had to do more, in less time, than ever before – a combination that caused increased stress, weight gain, hormonal fluctuations, sleep disruption, loss of energy and more," said Katy Hearn, Alani Nu’s founder. “Balance Powder is formulated to support these very effects."
Balance Powder is priced at $59.99 and is available at GNC and online through www.alaninu.com.
Santa Barbara-based KOS, which has made recent launches into several new brick and mortar retailers, including Vitamin Shoppe, H-E-B, Harris-Teeter, Raley's, Weis Markets, Big Y, NEXCOM, and more, and the brand is expanding its range with new specialty capsule supplements. Among the new products is KOS Lookin' Good! Capsules, which contain the “stuff to combat cellular aging” while naturally enriching hair, nails, and skin, according to the brand. In addition to its brick and mortar expansion, seven new online retailers have recently begun featuring KOS, including iHerb, Walmart.com, Target.com, Lucky Vitamin, Thrive Market, Vitacost, and VitaminShoppe to name a few. These new retail partners bring the brand to a total of 22,524 earned distribution points; a 2,100% increase in just one year, said the company.
The Vitamin Shoppe, in a new partnership with weight loss and wellness company WW International, Inc., is touting new nutritional supplements under the WW banner. The new offerings include WW by the Vitamin Shoppe Daily Essentials, a daily pack that features essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, including vitamin C, magnesium, omega-3, and L-theanine, which is designed to fill nutrient gaps that play a role in whole-body health, including skin health, among other benefits.
