The founder of skin care brand Yes To has said yes to another skin care line. David Klar of Trendsformers has launched Fortify+ Skincare, which company executives say is world’s first and only facial skin care collection created to deliver natural bacteria germ-fighting solutions that protect and nourish the skin.
The hero ingredient is zeolite, a natural volcanic mineral clinically proven to slow the growth of germs, bacteria and microorganisms for extended periods of time, according to Fortify+.
Using what the company calls a completely new approach to skin care, Fortify+ helps shield the face without drying or damaging skin like alcohol based options.
It pairs zeolite with collagen, hyaluronic and aloe vera.
According to the brand, studies show that people touch their faces as many as 25 times per hour and while the CDC guidelines consist of washing hands or using sanitizer to help protect from COVID and other pathogens, it’s difficult to take precautions to protect our facial skin beyond face masks.
The line includes facial wipes, an on-the-go anti-bacterial protective facial mist, a cleanser, a moisturizing serum, eye pads and sheet mask.
The range has been tapped by nearly 20 retailers, including Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Amazon, Whole Foods, Saks 5th Avenue and more. Prices range from $9.99 - $29.99.
