Croda International has agreed to acquire Alban Muller for 25 million euros. Privately-held Alban Muller had sales of about 18 million in its most recently concluded fiscal year.
"The acquisition of Alban Muller enhances Croda's position as a world leader in natural and botanical actives, helping us meet the increasing demand from customers looking for ingredients of natural origin to improve the sustainability profile of their products," said Croda CEO Steve Foots.
The acquisition expands Croda's portfolio of sustainable active ingredients for customers in personal care markets, complementing its industry-leading positions with Sederma and Crodarom, the company said.
