Erno Laszlo has appointed a new general manager, Pamela Kruse.
Kruse brings her experience and leadership in eCommerce, digital marketing, analytics, editorial and business management to Erno Laszlo. She is responsible for all commercial, marketing, partnership and PR activity in the region, which includes Canada, UK and Europe and other global territories.
Kruse's primary objective is to drive accelerated growth in the direct-to-consumer channel through on-site experience and conversion initiatives as well as performance marketing strategies. She will also leverage regional customer intelligence data to execute optimal distribution strategies and to inform product marketing plans. Kruse will also tap into brand appropriate partnerships and press opportunities that align with the core brand values of Erno Laszlo.
Experience
Prior to this role, Kruse was a consultant for a variety of brands, including Erno Laszlo. Before consulting, she was VP of digital merchandising, marketing & promotions at the Bon-Ton stores where she was responsible for all digital sales channels and digital marketing. She also ran eCommerce for the Americas at Burberry and eCommerce and registry at The Knot / XO Group.
Kruse moved into eCommerce after stints with Rodale, Condé Nast and Hearst. At Hearst, Pamela led the full eCommerce build and business launch of ShopBAZAAR.com.
Her work across both domestic and international geographies and for mass and luxury brands uniquely provides her awareness of regional differences in customer behaviors and commercial needs.
Kruse attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In her personal life, she is the mother of two young children, the wife of a senior creative project manager, a board member for the YMCA and an advocate for arts.
