10 years ago on May 11, 2011, Sozio acquired Alpine Aromatics, a leading fragrance company in North America with a track record of unique and creative fragrances.
“It took one year for Alpine Aromatics to be completely integrated into Sozio, we wanted to ensure a smooth transition of both companies and still allow Alpine Aromatics to keep their brand identity,” said general manager of Sozio, Frederic Braud.
For over 50 years, Alpine Aromatics was a trusted partner in the fragrance industry. Combined with Sozio, both companies were able to strengthen the business and expand to a global presence. Alpine Aromatics has given Sozio dedicated employees, many that are still with the company today and that were crucial to helping Sozio integrate its French roots into the U.S. market and culture.
Due to such a successful merger, Sozio employees first working at the France location have now come over to the U.S. For example, Christophe Politi was born in the capital of the perfume industry, Grasse France. He worked as the production manager in Noyant France prior to becoming the production manager in the U.S. He has been with Sozio U.S. for 6 years. Sozio says he is vital for guaranteeing batches go out on time, increasing productivity and creating a safe work environment for the team.
To accomplish the same goals, the two companies were able to link two different cultures and unite everyone. “After celebrating 10 years of history, the company is still continuing to grow together as a family, even during unexpected and presentenced times. Sozio is looking forward to its future with success and growth ahead,” the company stated.
