Youth To The People, the fast-growing LA-based skin care company known for its innovative, pro-grade vegan formulas, sustainable practices, and philanthropic initiatives, has announced Tiffany Plater as the company’s first senior vice president of marketing and Armine Charkhchyan as the company’s first senior vice president of operations and product development, effective immediately.
“The past two years have been a period of incredible growth for Youth To The People and the addition of Tiffany and Armine to our executive team ensures we’re positioned to continue that momentum,” said Joe Cloyes, co-founder of Youth To The People.
“Finding people that share our passion for the industry and commitment to sustainability and social justice is important to us,” added Greg Gonzalez, co-founder of Youth To The People. “Armine and Tiffany not only come to us with a wealth of experience, but an enthusiasm for our broader company vision.”
As the new SVP of marketing, Plater brings proven leadership and effective brand stewardship to Youth To The People, honed through her executive experience at brands such as Lancôme Paris, L’Oréal Paris, Mixa Skincare, Dark and Lovely, Garnier Fructis and Whole Blends, and Urban Decay. In her new role, Plater will continue to develop various cross-functional teams and work as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
Charkhchyan will spearhead new product development and drive the modernization of operations systems in her new role as SVP of operations and product development. Before joining Youth To The People, Charkhchyan held senior-level positions at Drunk Elephant and Kate Somerville, establishing the systems and processes that led both brands to global, multi-channel growth.
