Clean beauty brand Thayers has been known for 174 years for its longstanding “apothecary” heritage, powerful yet natural "farm to bottle" products, and deep trust and loyalty from its devoted consumers with over 45,000 five-star toner reviews on Amazon.
A year after being acquired by L’Oreal and as Thayers looks ahead to continued growth in the skin care category, the brand worked with advertising firm McCann to create its first ever commercial with the goal of debuting Thayers' authentic personality – a balance of heritage and modernity and some beloved Cambridge wit – to show new consumers what we are about, as well as make the longstanding fans of the brand proud.
McCann created content that was inspired by both the Thayers heirlooms dating back to the 1800s and brought them to life through an illustrated animation technique that has yet to be seen in the category. Check it out here!
