Part 1: Devices. Tuesday, October 12.
Since the start of the pandemic, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has increased its focus on pesticide devices, particularly those that make claims related to microbes. The Agency’s increasingly aggressive exercise of authority over devices like air purifiers, water filters, and UV lights has caused significant disruption and confusion in the industry.
In this session, HCPA will review the regulatory requirements applicable to pesticide devices at the federal and state levels and examine the current enforcement environment facing manufacturers, importers, and distributors of these products. Presenters will also discuss recent developments in the regulation of devices in Canada. There will be a Q&A session following the presentation.
