Independently-owned shaving brand Pacific Shaving Company announces the launch of its #ShaveWithPurpose collection.
The colorful product line contains six rich and moisturizing colored shaving creams for men and women formulated with safe, natural, and plant-derived ingredients committed to skin’s well-being. What’s more, each brightly-colored shaving cream is emblematic of causes close to the founders’ hearts: Green, for Mental Health Awareness; Yellow, for Suicide Prevention; Blue for Prostate Cancer Research; Pink for Breast Cancer Research; Purple for LGBTQ+ Equality & Inclusion; and Red for ALS Research.

Since its founding in 2002 by husband and wife team Stan Ades and CC Sofronas, California-based Pacific Shaving Company has provided customers with innovative and effective grooming essentials that make the mundane task of shaving more enjoyable. Philanthropy is a core component of the brand; past beneficiaries have included the CDC Foundation, the American Red Cross, Trees for the Future, and San Francisco nonprofit LavaMae, to name a few.
The idea for the #ShaveWithPurpose line came in early 2020 as Ades and Sofronas became increasingly concerned about the growing social injustices and healthcare inequities throughout the U.S. As business partners and parents, the couple were determined to make a difference.
“Our mission has always been to develop innovative and effective grooming products with purpose,” said Ades. “With #ShaveWithPurpose, we really love the idea of turning an everyday routine like shaving into a charitable action, and an easy way to build awareness for these important causes. If you don’t have the time to volunteer or the means to give monetarily, you can still demonstrate support and continue to keep awareness for these causes [at the] forefront in your mind each day - all before you even leave your bathroom.”
