The IFSCC seeks applications for the 2022 Ranier Voegeli Travel Grant. This grant is open to students or young scientists (<35 years old on the day they apply) from Least Developed Countries as listed by the United Nations’ Committee for Development Policy (UNCDP).
The winner of the travel grant will present their work as a paper or poster at the 2022 IFSCC Congress in London. To be selected for the grant, the winner must have his or her abstract accepted by the London Congress Scientific Committee.
The grant covers:
• Round-trip coach/economy class travel to London
• Congress registration fees
• Four nights at a hotel
Applicants must be a national of, and live in, a country on the Least Developed Countries list of the UNCDP.
Applications should be sent to: Swiss Society of Cosmetic Chemists at rvtgrant@swissscc.ch. The subject line should read "2022 Travel Grant submission." In their application, applicants must include a CV, a copy of their passport (or other national ID document) and a copy of the submitted abstract.
The final decision on the award winner will be made by the board of the SWISS SCC together with Rainer Voegeli. The Rainer Voegeli Travel Grant was introduced in 2017, funded initially with prize money won by Rainer Voegeli at the IFSCC 2016 Congress. This covered the 2017 and 2018 awards, with Rainer’s employer, DSM Nutritional Products, funding this grant into the future. The grant is jointly administered by the Swiss SCC and DSM.
