COSRX, a skincare brand known for its hypoallergenic products designed for those with sensitive skin, has named K-pop artist Jeon Somi as its new global brand ambassador and will be giving her fans a sneak peek at the new launch of TikTok Hashtag Challenge on the brand’s social media.
"I have dreamed of being a face of a company like COSRX," she said. “I am very thrilled to become a model for an internationally well-loved brand.”
A spokesperson for the brand called Somi an artist that “carries a bright, energetic vibe with healthy skin,” which aligns with its corporate values.
Somi’s full-length album topped the iTunes Top Album Chart and K-Pop Song chart quickly after its release. The music video for Jeon Somi's title track “XOXO” surpassed 30 million views on YouTube in just three days. She received the “Best Female Performance” award at the 36th Golden Disk Awards in Korea.
The brand will announce TikTok campaign, “Snail Dance Challenge,” incorporating COSRX best seller Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence together with Jeon Somi’s dance moves that reminds us of snails with powerful beats.
Meanwhile, COSRX has been garnering global attention, solidifying its status as a global skincare brand, by expanding its exports throughout the South East Asian region, the US, and Europe as well as Korea.
