US Patent No. 11,413,227 B2 (Takahiro Katori, Satoshi Yamaki, Kouichi Nagai, Yurika Watanabe); Shiseido Company Ltd., Tokyo, has patented an water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic, comprising 4% to 10% by mass of hydrophobically treated talc that is in flaky form; 8% to 30% by mass of one or more ultraviolet absorbing agents selected from the group consisting of octocrylene, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine and diethylaminohydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate; 0.1% to 1% by mass of distearyl dimonium chloride as a cationic surfactant; 0.1% to 3% by mass of distearyl dimonium hectorite; 0.6% to 3% by mass of PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone; 0.5% to 4% by mass of dextrin fatty acid ester; oils; and water.
