LA-based beauty brand HipDot is harkening back to the nu metal era of the 1990s with two new makeup palettes designed after Korn and Evanescence.

Korn's "Follow the Leader" Palette comes in eight tracks of soft mattes, pigmented shimmers and easy to blend glitters.
The HipDot x Korn “Follow the Leader” palette ($22) consists of eight “tracks” of soft mattes, pigmented shimmers and easy to blend glitters. All tones, which are inspired by the band’s 1998 album, include “My gift to you” in olive metallic shifter; “Pretty” in silver glitter; “Dead Bodies Everywhere” in gunmetal glitter; “Seed” in black matte; “Freak on a Leash!” in orange shimmer tone; “It's on” in off white pink matte; “Got the Life” in brown matte; and “Children of the Korn” in beige matte.
The HipDot x Evanescence CD Palette ($22) consists of eight tracks of soft mattes, pigmented shimmers, foils and easy-to-blend glitters. All shades are inspired by the rock band’s legendary music. “Hello” is in black matte; “Going Under” is in bright white shimmer; Haunted is in bright blue/silver – foil; “Bring Me to Life” is in muted blue/grey – matte; “Everybody's Fool” in dark blue jean – matte; “My Immortal” in royal blue – foil; “Taking Over” in greyish periwinkle – foil; and “Imaginary” in deep royal blue – glitter.
