Inolex (C38) welcomed Arthur “Art” Knox as vice president and global head of personal care sales. In this role, he will have responsibility for leadership of the company’s global sales team, developing new business opportunities and creating customized solutions for client needs.
Prior to joining Inolex, he held senior leadership roles with Croda International for close to three decades. In his recent role as managing director, global personal care Sales, Knox was responsible for developing a cohesive global sales team that initiated collaborations with key multinational clients. Prior to that he spent five years in Singapore leading Croda’s Asia Pacific Consumer business where he expanded its global footprint by opening up new offices, labs and collaboration centers in China, Singapore, Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam.
In other news, Inolex recently rolled outClariSilk and ClariSoft. According to the company, these “next generation” conditioning polymers for hair care are ideal for the mass market—especially 2-in-1 products. The multifunctional properties of ClariSilk and ClariSoft can be attributed to the unique molecular design that includes cationic and ester groups for exceptional conditioning, slip and gloss. The alkyl groups provide an added protective layer and silky feel as well as clarity of formulations.
ClariSoft has additional sensory benefits that provide a complete conditioning system ideal for silicone-free formulations, said the company. Inolex also recently launched SustOleo, a complete system of palm-free ingredients.
