Air pollution, caused by industry, vehicle fumes, cigarette smoke and other sources, together with high energy sunlight (UV), are known to have a detrimental effect on skin and body, including wrinkles, pigmentation spots, disrupted skin barrier, overall dryness and skin imperfections. IBR-Phyto(flu)ene is a platform of products based on phytoene and phytofluene, the colorless carotenoids, both as topical cosmetic actives and dietary products for beauty from within. The phytoene and phytofluene in the products can assist with skin protection against UVA & UVB, preventing oxidative damage via their anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity as well as their proven ability to repair skin imperfections.
