Apobac (INCI: Azelamidopropyl dimethyl amine (and) water (and) butylene glycol) is a novel patented active ingredient that imparts outstanding anti-bacterial property to help restore the homeostasis of acne-prone skin, generally associated with the overexpression of Propionibacterium acnes, according to Corum (stand N120). Apobac improves skin appearance by inhibiting Propionibacterium acnes proliferation, mediating bacteria induced skin inflammation and controlling facial sebum excretion. In addition, its anti-imperfection properties help blemishes and wounds by accelerating the migration of fibroblasts and keratinocytes toward the affected areas. Apobac is extremely stable and easy to formulate with.
