Shin-Etsu Silicones of America proudly announces the addition of Brajesh Jha as a senior chemist to its cosmetic applications lab in Paramus, NJ, reporting to Lab Manager Janine Cherette. Jha will develop formulations across all personal care categories as well as conducting fundamental studies on Shin-Etsu’s
unique silicone materials. In addition, he will visit and provide technical support to customers, deliver presentations and participate in distributer trainings.
Jha graduated from the University of Poona in India with a PhD in colloid and surfactant chemistry. He comes to Shin-Etsu with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Most recently, Jha worked for Colgate-Palmolive where he worked on cross category products from personal care to home care. Prior to that, he worked for Evonik and Procter & Gamble.
