Take a deep dive into color prior to NYSCC Suppliers' Day. On Monday, May 2, Jane Hollenberg, JCH Consulting, will provide an all-day session on Cosmetic Color Additives: Regulations, Properties and Processing. This course will provide a broad overview of the pigments used in the development of color cosmetic products. Topics include: current global regulatory frameworks will be reviewed, the fundamentals of cosmetic colorants (organic, inorganic, effect, surface treated, natural), pigment incorporation and processing in color cosmetic formulations, color choice, and shade matching.
According to NYSCC, the course serves as a great overview of the use of pigments in the cosmetics industry, and will be beneficial to those working in formulation, regulatory affairs, processing, or claims testing.
