The Doctor's Opinion: Dr. Janet Denlinger

Hyaluronic acid has become a mainstay in modern day skin care, many thanks to Dr. Janet Denlinger.

The Chief Scientific Officer of eraclea skin care and president of the Matrix Biology Institute, which provides research and education on hyaluronic acid and whose mission is to provide accurate information and product development related to the molecule, hyaluronan (hyaluronic acid). Dr. Denlinger along with her husband, Dr. Endre A. Balazs, had one of the first patents on hyaluronic acid for use in skincare, resulting in an ingredient they sold to Estee Lauder years ago for the company’s now-famed wrinkle reducing serum that is still presently on the market.

Dr. Denlinger has spent years advancing scientific understanding of hyaluronic acid, a key building block of youthful skin, and developed HylaFusion to deliver hyaluronic acid, along with other key ingredients, effectively. The development of HylaFusion led her to the creation of a new line, eraclea skincare, which was specifically designed to moisturize, hydrate, protect and rejuvenate the skin to help fight aging. She is a guest on the Happi podcast to tell us more.
