More than 150 professionals attend the spa brand’s 19th annual gathering.
Repêchage hosted its 18th Annual International Conference for Salon & Spa professionals on May 2 at Manhattan's Affinia Hotel, followed by a hands-on workshop across the Hudson River at the Lydia Sarfati Post Graduate Skin Care Academy.
This year, Repêchage CEO and founder Lydia Sarfati welcomed more than 150 professionals from across the globe; they included spa and salon staffers from Australia, Trinidad, Italy, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, Malta, Guatemala, Romania, UK, India, Canada, Colombia and the Cayman Islands. During the second-day workshop at the Lydia Sarfati Post Graduate Skincare Academy in Secaucus, NJ, attendees participated in hands-on sessions.
Bikram Sapra of JB Skincare received the President’s Award for Distributor of the Year in recognition of expanding Repêchage sales in India’s competitive skin care market.
Yolanda (Mayola) Amador Origel, International Spa consultant and Repêchage Mexico distributor, presented “The Whole Picture: The Newest Trends in Spa Treatments” which covered the importance in understanding the clients’ needs.
During “Skin Care from 8 to 80: 8 Ways to Stay Ageless,” Dr. Samuel Shatkin, FACS, MD and owner of Aesthetic Associate Centre for Plastic Surgery in Buffalo, NY, explained how medical procedures can be combined with professional skin care treatments.
