Leading beauty brands such as Essie, Maybelline, Drybar, Deborah Lippmann and many more created cosmetic looks for the NYFW Autumn/Winter (AW) 2018 shows—forecasting the latest trends to hit the marketplace soon. Here’s a preview of what to expect for hair, nail and makeup as seen on the models.

NYFW served up colorful looks for Winter 2018.
Back in Black (And Bling!)
Deborah Lippmann was the lead manicurist for Creatures of Comfort at 59 Chelsea Piers. The looks spanned from gothic with Fade to Black to holographic with Hotline Bling.
Good Sport
The athletic aesthetic is all the rage at Pamella Roland. With hair by Alli Webb for Drybar, tresses complimented the collection with just the right amount of volume and waves. Webb used all products from Drybar including the recently launched Southern Belle range.
Rave On
Inspired by the vibrant neon shades found in Jeremy Scott’s collection, Miss Pop for Essie channeled the designer’s raver muse by creating a “cool techno animal print” on nails.
Retro Vibes
Inspired by the 90’s Downtown NYC Club Kid, the look at Ashton Michael Fall/Winter ’18 Collection featured dewy, lived-in skin and a painterly watercolor-effect on the eyes.
Face of the Future
Playing off the vibrant colors in Jason Wu’s FW 2018 collection, makeup artist Thomas de Kluyver for Maybelline New York added an element of “deconstructed glam” to the face. “It’s a modern way of approaching a classic cat- eye,” he said of the graphic liner look.
