The razor and shave category is anything but dull these days.
At CES in Las Vegas, P&G’s Gillette Labs showcased a new heated razor that features a warming bar that heats up in less than one second and elevates the shave experience—think hot towel shave with every stroke. At the close of the show, it walked away with Engadget’s "Best of CES" People’s Choice Award.
Also at CES, Royal Philips unveiled the Philips Smart Shaver series 7000—billed as the world's first connected and AI-powered shaving solution. It analyzes shaver motion and determines the motion type to provide each man with a personalized shaving plan that addresses specific skin issues and needs.
Forget pink plastic; Oui Shave’s rose gold razor is elegant and designed to address common concerns like irritation and ingrown hairs. This single edge safety razor designed specifically for women, is 100% stainless steel and was developed by Karen Young, who spent time at Estée Lauder.
OneBlade’s newest razor is called the Hybrid. The Austin, TX-based grooming-company uses military grade materials and guarantees the razor for a lifetime of use. This new tool has a stainless-steel head and an ergonomic handle made from engineer-grade, BPA-free Tritan, a lightweight durable polymer.
