Cinnamon Bark

Cinnamon bark essential oil’s warm and comforting aroma exudes a familiar scent from the naturally-occurring constituent cinnamaldehyde. There’s no doubt that cinnamon bark is a favorite during the fall/winter season, as its sweet and spicy scent evokes memories of the holidays. For a festive note, diffuse cinnamon bark with clove, frankincense, nutmeg, orange or tangerine.

Clove

Clove has a spicy, warm scent that’s instantly familiar because of its connection to fall and winter holidays. To produce clove essential oil, the flower bud and plant stem are steam distilled, and the rich, strong oil that results from this process contains eugenol. This powerful constituent makes it a potent essential oil, and clove’s uses include topical applications in massage oils and personal care products.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg essential oil has a warm, spicy aroma that is energizing and uplifting. Nutmeg blends well with other oils such as clary sage, any eucalyptus, ginger and orange.

Vanilla

Vanilla has a luxuriously rich, slightly sweet aroma that enhances the experience of virtually any other essential oil when applied topically or enjoyed aromatically.

Cardamom

Cardamom essential oil can be used aromatically or topically for its spicy, comforting aroma. When taken internally, it may support a healthy digestive system and gastrointestinal function, according to Young Living.
