Fernando and his brother Eduardo founded direct-sales company Yanbal in 1967, but 20 years later they went their separate ways after a disagreement about company strategy. Eduardo went on to found Belcorp and competes head-to-head with his brother, who renamed his company Yanbal International.
Last year, the company had sales of $815 million, putting it at No. 17 in the Direct Selling News’ Global 100 direct sellers.
