Comments: Spartan Chemical Company, Inc. has been a recognized leader in the formulation and manufacture of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market since 1956. The company manufactures high quality products from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Maumee, OH and sells both domestically and internationally through a selective network of distribution. Spartan’s chemical products and services are used in building service contractor, education, healthcare, food service and processing, lodging/hospitality, and industrial markets.
A leading launch this year at Spartan was Clean by Peroxy Multi Surface Wipes. Formulated to leave no residue behind, the wipes efficiently and easily clean desks, walls, spills and more, said the company.
“The benefit of the Clean by Peroxy Wipe is that it enables non-cleaning staff to clean on demand,” noted John Swigart, president, Spartan Chemical Company. “Addressing soils and spills as they occur both improves the overall cleanliness of the facility, as well as the efficiency of cleaning operations.”
Also, in 2017, Spartan announced the addition of several new Safer Choice Certifications for its products.
Additionally, the company expanded its line of vehicle care products, and introduced a new cleaning and sanitation program for athletic facilities called FitnessCheck. Keeping pace with a rapid rate of change in datafication of cleaning operations, Spartan also rolled out significant upgrades to its custodial and maintenance software applications.
“Over 80% of the population has a smart phone now,” said Swigart. “As technology continuous to pervade in our society, we uncover new opportunities to make our customers’ jobs easier.”
