Her responsibilities include administering technical resource allocation processes across all Asian markets and laboratories, developing and implementing technical service strategies for the region, and ensuring excellent technical support for all Asian customers, according to AkzoNobel.
Based at AkzoNobel’s Songjiang site in Shanghai, China, Dr. Wang reports directly to Gary Martino, senior director, R&D, AkzoNobel Global Personal Care.
Dr. Wang brings nine years of R&D experience in the home and personal care (HPC) industries to her new position. Prior to joining AkzoNobel, she was an HPC laboratory manager with Rhodia China at the company’s R&D center in Shanghai.
A graduate of the East China University of Science & Technology in Shanghai, Dr. Wang went on to earn her Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Analytical/Bio-Chemistry from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.
