Procedure | |
Combine ingredients in phase A in the order that they are listed and heat to 80°C while mixing between 200- 300 rpm. Maintain heat at 80°C. Heat phase B ingredients in a secondary beaker to 80°C. When both phases are at 80°C, add phase B to phase A and keep mixing between 200-300 rpm for about 15 minutes. Turn off heat and start to cool batch to room temperature while continuing to mix. Add phase C preservative to combined phases when temperature is at 45°C or below | |
