Procedure | |
Phase A - Add hot water to main container and begin moderate propeller agitation. Sprinkle in Albagel, mix well for a minimum of one hour. Begin heating to 75-80°C. Add remaining phase A ingredients, mixing well after each addition. phase B - In a separate container premix phase B, add premix to main tank. Continue mixing and heating to 75-80°C. Phase C - In a separate container combine phase C with moderate mixing and begin heating to 75-80°C. Continue mixing and heating until uniform. When both main tank and Phase C are 75-80°C, slowly add phase C to main tank with homogenization. When batch appears uniform, turn off heat. Switch to side sweep mixing only for the remainder of the process. Begin cooling to room temperature. Phase D - When batch reaches below 40°C, add remaining phase D ingredients individually to the main container, mixing well after each addition. | |
