A graduate of Forensic Chemistry from Manchester Metropolitan University, she brings with her a total of seven years work experience—four of which were at Robert McBride Ltd., a British-based manufacturer of household and personal care products. While at Robert McBride, she started as a volunteer technician for a year while studying for her degree and after graduating, was hired by the company as development specialist where she acted as the group technical contact for a wide range of FMCG products and European group portfolios.
In other personnel news, David Rees was appointed encapsulation chemist and is tasked to drive the development of CPL’s Aromacore patent-protected fragrance encapsulation platform. He will focus on building the company’s encapsulation capabilities and knowledge to produce fragrances with optimized performance and superior delivery. He joins CPL with a degree in chemistry from the University of Nottingham and will be based at the UK Brixworth site.
With six years experience from ISP Microcaps, now part of Ashland Specialty Ingredients, Rees has an extensive knowledge on encapsulation of flavors and fragrances, has managed academic collaborations and led encapsulation technology innovation projects targeting oral care and household applications.
