According to an FDA notice, 265 cases of My Fair Baby brand Baby Wipes (Blue package, Item No. 10485-24) and 337 cases of My Fair Baby brand Baby Wipes (Pink package, Item No. 10486-24) from Delta Brands, Larchmont, NY, have been recalled. The baby wipes were found to be contaminated with bacteria based on FDA sampling and analysis.
Specific lots of mouth care kits containing Biotene toothpaste are being recalled by Centurion Medical Products because the toothpaste may contain wood fragments. The Williamston, MI firm also initiated another voluntary recall for Oncology Oral Care Kits containing Biotene toothpaste for the same issue.
Both kits were distributed in Florida, Washington and South Carolina, according to the FDA Enforcement information.
In other recall news, Health Canada has ordered Orange TKO Industries (International) Inc. to recall and stop the sale of “Orange TKO Super Concentrated All Purpose” cleaning product in Canada. The product does not meet the labeling and child-resistant packaging requirements for consumer chemical products that are established in regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).
The product contains a level of D-limonene that can pose a danger to human health, especially to children, if aspiration occurs, according to the agency.
Health Canada has ordered Orange TKO Industries (International) Inc. to recall and stop selling the non-compliant product in Canada. Via its website, Orange TKO does not agree with Health Canada’s assessment.
