As today’s savvy personal care consumers demand products that offer visible benefits, formulators, marketers and suppliers must design and develop new and innovative formulations offering consumer perceived benefits. Leaner teams, tighter timelines, and shortened product cycles drive marketing, formulations and safety groups to work closely together from product concept to launch. These groups can no longer work in a standard linear manner, but have to work simultaneously to meet these challenges to commercialization.
To this end, the NYSCC has scheduled “25 Years of Product Design and Innovation” on Feb. 18 at The Bethwood in Totowa, NJ, from 5pm-8pm.
Presenters will discuss aspects of New Product Development that enable marketing teams to deliver products that achieve consumer desires on performance and aesthetics. The speakers include Sarah Jindal of Mintel, Anthony Esposito of Coty Inc., and Steven F. Schnittger of Estée Lauder Companies.
